Pukar Bam

Biography

Pukar Bam is a long-time social activist, educator, and co-founder of Bibeksheel Nepali who played a key role in founding Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), serving as Central Committee Member and leading campaigns. Before politics, he worked as Head of Social Work Department and Lecturer at K&K International College for over a decade, led disaster relief efforts post-2015 earthquake and during COVID-19, including the 'Enough is Enough' movement with a 12-day hunger strike. In 2026, he won the House of Representatives seat from Kathmandu-4 for RSP with 29,142 votes, previously advising RSP MP Sumana Shrestha on education policy.
