Biography

Bina Gurung is a social activist and business director from Pokhara, Nepal, who founded and leads the Sanjeevani Sisters Association to empower disadvantaged women and girls through education and training, and serves as treasurer of RSP Kaski. Previously involved in organizations like Tamu Dhee Nepal and Lions Club, she entered politics as a first-time candidate for Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Kaski-3, winning decisively in the 2026 general election to become the only directly elected female MP from Gandaki Province. Her work focuses on women empowerment, education access, and local development in tourism-rich areas like Annapurna and Phewa Lake.
