Bikram Khanal is a long-time Nepali Congress activist who began his political career in student politics at age 14 through the Nepal Students' Union, later becoming Nevisangh District President in Nawalparasi and Lumbini Provincial General Secretary. He served as a Constituent Assembly member in 2070 BS and, after switching to Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), achieved a landslide victory in the 2026 general election from Nawalparasi West-1, defeating billionaire Binod Chaudhary with 45,241 votes. Known for social service and organizational work, he is also associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
